OBOB Signups!
The Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) is a statewide voluntary reading motivation and comprehension program sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries in conjunction with a Library Services and Technology Act grant. Students in 3rd-12th grade, regardless of ability, are exposed to quality literature representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints.
We're putting teams together for the 2022-23 Oregon Battle of the Books!
The three divisions are:
3rd to 5th Grade
6th to 8th Grade
9th to 12th Grade
A student participates by:
1. Reading from the book list for this year's OBOB; all the books are available at the library!
2. Meeting weekly at the library to discuss those titles and practice answering questions, and
3. Competing in regional battles with their teammates.
Interested? Fill out the form below or call us at 541-573-6670. Meeting times TBA in late September once we have assembled our teams!
